All hands on deck, on the rigging

Last week Smart Rigging, Hall Spars, Berthon and Leen Hoogmoed tried to get the (new) shrouds properly fixed on the mast and spreaders.

At the same time the newly arrived back stay appeared to have a kink and could not be used.

Eize Speerstra of Smart Rigging was so kind to order and produce a PBO back stay for the next day, which Leen picked up last Friday in Joure. We have counted her as back stay number 6.

Today, Monday 23rd April, Leen and Dirk-Jan are picking up Winsome to deliver her to East Cowes Marina. Well that’s the idea.
